Human beings belong to a species of extremes. And it’s in these instances, when we go through difficult times, when that fact stands out more than ever.
On one hand, there are those who think that the whole issue is a conspiracy from those who have the power and that there is no danger whatsoever. I’m not going to get into conspiracy theories, but apart from whatever could be happening behind the scenes, coronavirus is a reality and if we think that there is no danger for us, I’m sure we all can think of someone who could suffer if we transmit them the virus.
On the other hand, are those who panic and feed from fear, stress and anxiety. All those mental states affect our defences and make us vulnerable to the virus.
Both extremes are dangerous, because the two of them feed the possibility to spread the virus.
That’s why I think it’s important to understand how our biology works and the tools we have to strengthen it.
Exposure to the virus doesn’t mean that you’re going to develop it.
It’s our body, through the immune system, who gives permission to the virus to be activated or not. Now, the truth is that, we can’t know if our immune system is at a hundred per cent. We can feel good enough, we can have a healthy diet, do exercise, meditate and practice breathing techniques to strengthen it. However, today we know that our thoughts trigger emotions and these emotions, do affect directly to our immune system. So we could be perfectly healthy but having an argument, feeling disappointed or of course, getting into panic mode, could open the door for coronavirus or any other. What it wouldn’t be any better seeing how the situation is getting in hospitals.
What can we do to overcome this situation then?
First, to follow the recommendations and minimize going out to public spaces and contact with others. Use common sense and keep basic hygiene after each contact. And then, trying to see the whole situation as a challenge to grow instead of as a threat.
Virus biodecoding in general, explains how the germs come to give us information from the collective subconscious. And the goal is to allow our body to evolve. And if we think about it, that’s the key.
Humanity has to evolve and transform. But it needs external help to transform the inner side; eliminate, clean, heal and evolve.
According to Louise Hay in her book “Heal Your Body”, the probable causes to contract a virus are lack of joy, irritation, anger and annoyance. All of them emotions that have a direct effect in our defences, so, why don’t we take advantage of this opportunity to go within and find the root of those emotions so we can let them go?
The new thought patterns or the affirmations that Louise Hay suggests are:
“I lovingly allow joy to flow freely in my life. I love me.” and “I choose to be peaceful and harmonious”.
We can choose to start the day with these two affirmations and then, enjoy at home and focus in what really matters, our family, our projects and our own personal growth.
Listen to good music, read books that inspire you, take advantage that you’re not in a hurry anymore and take care of your home and your loved ones mindfully. Make the most of this time and learn those things you always wanted but never had the time for. Internet is full of online courses. Practice mindful cooking and encourage joy and compassion instead of hate and division in your neighbourhood or social media.
We all are trying our best, even though we could be making decisions that from the outside are seen as wrong and selfish. It’s very easy to judge, it’s a natural reaction. But we could also choose to promote love and compassion. Because what could be a better medicine!
Some time ago I created a self-help online course to improve stress and anxiety, as well as they’re biodecoding (biological meaning). Due to the situation we’re going through at the moment, I’ve decided to offer it for just 1€ for the next month. Access from here.
